We need a Marketing Representative immediately to sell our program to prospects for our online school from his or her own location.

Description:

The Marketing Representative will sell our program to prospective clients by telephone and email, and by occasional travels to clients locations in the New York City and its vicinity. This is an online position that the Marketing Representative will work from his/her own location using a computer.

The ideal candidate has superior oral and written communication skills, must have the ability to demonstrate initiative and handle projects independently as well as in a team environment, and is highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills, creativity and a positive attitude.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field and a minimum of 1 year experience in public relations, marketing or a related field. Experience in an educational recruiting field is a plus. Candidates should also be proficient in all Microsoft Office products and Adobe Acrobat.

The Marketing Representative will:

Be responsible for the sales of online recruiting services from his/her own location using the computer for prospective clientele located in the U.S. The Sales Representative will carry out recruiting services in the following manners:

Produce presentations by which the Marketing Representative will present our products to prospective clients. For contact, the Marketing Representative will use telephone, email and, when necessary, he/she will travel to the location of New York City clients.

Demonstrate product knowledge of our two different Programs: Online Tutoring and Live Homework Help.

Demonstrate both soft and point-of-sale selling skills. For soft-sale, the Marketing Representative will provide clients with all the information regarding our TWO programs--by oral presentation via telephone, email, video and podcasts.

Develop annual business plan in conjunction with the Program Manager, which details activities to follow for the next year, which will focus the Marketing Representative on meeting or exceeding sales quota.

Demonstrate complete understanding of pricing and proposal.

Demonstrate the ability to carry on a business conversation with clients and decision makers.

Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from larger competitors.

Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues.

Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email and networking.

Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals.

Responsible for identifying and building effective centers of influence network with sales recruiters and other professionals to maximize sale.

Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory.

Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented in business interactions.

Participate and contribute to the development of educational programs offered to clients and prospects.

Job Specifications:

The Marketing Representative will:

2-3 years of experience preferably in recruiting industry. E-Learning recruiting is a plus.

Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.

Willingness to travel when needed.

Proven ability to achieve sales quotas.

Skills:

Demonstrate excellent communications skills in spoken English and writing in all modes of communications with clients and the company--face-to-face and on the Internet.

Demonstrate superior telephone skills. He or she will communicate in business English in all modes of communications.

Demonstrates proficiency in using the computer and Internet

Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with other company employees.

Build trust, respect and value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
